Paul Nikolaevich Evdokimov (Russian: Павел Николаевич Евдокимов) (August 2 [O.S. July 20], 1901 – September 16, 1970) was an Orthodox Christian theologian, professor at the St. Sergius Orthodox Theological Institute, and émigré. Born in Saint Petersburg to a noble family, Evdokimov was forced to leave Russia in the wake of the October Revolution.

Life. Paul Evdokimov was born in St. Petersburg, Russia on August 2, 1901, the son of an army officer who was assassinated by one of his soldiers in 1905.He was educated in a military school and served in the cavalry. He began theological studies just prior to the Bolshevik Revolution.
